Hi, my name is Troy. I was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. In June 2000, I graduated from College of the North Atlantic with a diploma in Graphic Design and have been working as a graphic designer ever since. I have worked at both a major local newspaper and marketing agency with extensive experience designing logos, stationery, brochures, posters, ads, signage, trade show booths and websites.
About What I Do
Graphic Design is defined as the art or profession of using design elements, such as typography and images, to convey information or create an effect for an advertisement, publication or website. This is what I do everyday and is exactly what I'm doing here by bringing you this website to give you a glimpse into what I do. Aside from websites, graphic design is most commonly needed for logos, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, flyers, posters, brochures, ads, signage and packaging, However, these examples only scratch the surface because graphic design surrounds us. Look around. Anything you see with graphics on it is was designed somewhere by someone like me.

Now that you can appreciate the importance of graphic designers, you probaly realize how you might need one yourself, especially if you are in business. Image is everything. When you are contantly being criticized by consumers and compared to your competition, a strong and consistent image (or brand) is crucial in standing out from the crowd.
